Nursery Is Set!

Over the weekend, Bailyn and I worked on the nursery. Ok, Bailyn did a lot more than I did but I did help. I think it looks really nice. The room is small. As of right now, the glider doesn't even fit. But we may like having the glider in the living room until we move again. Here are some pictures of the room. We are going with an airplane theme. Big surprise. I tired not to do too much airplane but there were a few things that I couldn't pass up. I hope that this litttle guy doesn't grow up to hate airplanes since his daddy is a pilot! The furniture is from Young America. We are so happy with it.
Here is Ava posing with the furniture. Hope she is excited about becoming a big sister. If you notice the white patches on the wall; that is where the wall letters belong. I had to take them down for pictures purposes only. We are not sharing the name with family and friends until the big day arrives.

Baseball & More

The thing I really like about living in a large city is the fact that there is so much to do. Right behind our house is a large stadium where the Kanas City Royals and the Texas Rangers have their spring training. Ten minutes down the road the Padres have their spring training. So on Friday, Bailyn and I went to see the Texas Rangers play the Brewers. It was a lot of fun. I must say I don't know too much about baseball anymore. I used to know all the Atlanta Braves players but not anymore. But two former Braves now play for the Rangers. So it was kind of like being back home.

Bailyn is almost done with Mustache March. I was counting down until March 31st where I would meet him with a can of shaving cream and a razor. However, he has informed me that he has to keep it until Friday. I will try to get a picture of him with his mustache and post it.

I've had two pregnancy comments this week. The most I've had ever. The first random person said I was all belly. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. The second person said I looked like I could go any minute. Well, I have seven weeks left so I will let him stay where he is for now. I think we finished buying most of the baby items this weekend. We've started setting up the nursery. It looks really good if I do say so myself. The room is small and I think we are going to have a hard time fitting the glider in the room. So it may be left out until we move again.

Luke AFB Air Show and 32 Weeks

Well, I am 32 weeks this week. Eight more weeks and counting! I had a doctor's appointment on Friday. Everything is looking good. Heartbeat was good, my blood pressure was fine. My mom is flying in soon...well six weeks from now. It will be nice for her to be here.

Over the weekend, we went to the Luke Air Show. Luckily for me the base had a family day on Friday. We got to see the Thunderbirds practice and see all the planes flying in. Good thing I went on Friday afternoon because Saturday & Sunday it was too hot for me to go. The temperature was in the 90s and on the flight line it was in the 100s. Poor Bailyn, he had to work both Saturday and Sunday. He was so tired when he got home. He flies solo tomorrow for the first time in the F-16. He is excited and nervous at the same time.

30 weeks!

So I have made it to 30 weeks! I can't believe how fast time is going by! Last weekend, Bailyn and I took a Labor & Birth class. The couple in front of us were from Georgia. It was really nice talking to them about all stuff Georgia. This weekend we are are taking Babies 101 class. Since I have never really been near a baby, I figured it was a good class to take.

Bailyn started flying this week. He's learning to fly the F-16. So far so good. He's really enjoying it. But he still has a ways to go.

The picture is of me at 30 weeks!

3D ultrasounds

Yesterday, Bailyn took me to get a 3D ultrasound. It was so much fun! I am already in love with this little guy. The tech confirmed he is still a boy! Good thing because we had just finished some shopping and bought all blue. We can already tell he has Bailyn's nose, cheeks, and mouth. Basically, Bailyn is going to have a clone. She said she can already tell he has a full head of hair. I couldn't tell but I guess she knows what she's looking at. We also got to see him open his eyes and mouth. He's a cutie...at least to us anyway. Here are a few pictures from yesterday.
